Happy Friday Babes!!
I hope everyone had a fabulous fourth of July! I’m so excited to share this white bib romper with you all! I feel like I really hit the jackpot with my recent shopping spree, bc I’ve actually been super excited about all my outfit posts lately. I’m usually someone who enjoys fall and winter fashion more, but this summer has definitely been something special in the wardrobe department;) Plus I get to wear all my big straw hats, and almost every summer outfit is better with a hat, right? #HatsAreLife yall!;)
I was skeptical about what I was buying when I ordered this white bib romper bc it looks so nice online, but the price is obscenely low at….are you ready for this? Just $14….that’s right, FOURTEEN DOLLARS!! Crazy! So when I got it I was shocked that it was everything I’d hoped for.;) The fabric is nice (though a bit see through if you don’t wear the right undies), and I love the gold button detail, which makes it even more suitable for an evening out.
If you’ve read a lot of my previous outfit posts, you know that I typically order a large from this retailer, which is what I ordered this time. You can see that it’s probably a tad big on me, but I have a habit of sizing up in general bc I can’t stand the look and feel of clothing that’s too small. With this fabric, I think a looser fit looks nicer. As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, I do have a sewing machine, so it’s easy for me to take in most things that don’t quite fit right. I’ve also lost 10 pounds over the past couple months, so maybe I do need to start sizing down a bit.
What are everyone’s plans this weekend? We’ll be heading out on the boat Saturday for probably the last time this month, as all our other weekends are booked. I have my 20th (gasp!) high school reunion coming up so I’ll be heading down to Florida for that later this month while Michael stays home on doggie duty. Gosh that makes me old! I sure don’t feel old though….most of the time, at least;)
I missed my 10 year reunion, so I’m not sure what to expect or how I’ll feel seeing all these faces from the past. I didn’t stick around my hometown after graduation, so I lost touch with everyone until about 10 years later when I joined the social media movement;) At least I have some cute new outfits to wear to all he reunion events, including my new white bib romper;) Think I might sport this little number at dinner, which will be perfect for coastal Florida:)
Have any of you had an interesting high school reunion experience? Tell me about it…..the good, the bad, the ugly….I want to hear it all!
