Leopard Print | The New Neutral

I had so much fun wearing this outfit around….the house (thanks COVID).

Seriously though, there’s something about throwing on a mini skirt that instantly gives you all the flirty, feminine vibes. They always give me a little extra confidence boost too. Partly bc I insist on wearing spandex shorts under all of my short skirts and dresses, so at a minimum, I feel confident bc I know with certainty that I will not be having a Marilyn Monroe, or a Britney Spears getting out of a car at the club circa early 2000s moment. And you never know when someone’s going to challenge you to a handstand contest, so it’s just good sense to always be prepared.

I’ve seen several similar skirts in so many fun summery prints, but I couldn’t help but go for this little leopard print number. Leopard is so versatile. It goes well with basically every color, or it works for the ultimate neutral vibe. For such a bold print, it’s surprisingly muted, without being boring.

And, of course, I never miss an opportunity to wear a statement belt. I’ve been loving this set of belts I got last month. They go well with so many pieces in my wardrobe, and they’re so budget friendly.
