I apologize for whenever I have to post pics with less than inspiring backgrounds, but ur girl ain’t got no time for elaborate photo shoots. I’m typically just trying to get things photographed before they sell out. As is the case with this truly gorgeous plaid winter coat I recently picked up for our trip to France next month.
One problem. This sucker is soooooo freaking heavy, so I don’t think it’ll be able to tag along with me on this vacay, which is a total bummer. Honestly, at $51 I wasn’t expecting it to be a heavy duty winter coat, but it’s legit! Between the quality of the fabric, the full lining, functional pockets, and the construction, it’s right on par with something you’d find at any major department store.
I ordered a large, as I usually have issues with being able to comfortably move my arms bc I have a broad upper back and lat muscles from spending half my childhood upside down walking on my hands (true story), so I sized up. You can see in the pics that the large is a bit too big on me, so I’d actually say this runs true to size. As far as the length goes, I’m 5’3″, and you can see where it falls on my frame. I tried it on with flats too, and it wasn’t too long.
My comfy booties are from last season, so they’re marked down at a few places and I highly recommend them! They’re a little high for me to wear on vacay during long days of sightseeing, but I’ve worn them all day around town and they don’t hurt my feet at all:) They come in black as well and definitely make a great staple bootie.
Keeping this short, as I have to save my energy for my awful wall paper project for the guest bathroom refresh.
Send me strength!
