Happy Friday Everyone!
By now, most of you are likely aware of my well documented obsession with hats. I simply cannot have enough of these noggin-lids, so it only makes sense to share a few of my personal faves with you all for this week’s edition of Friday Favorites.
While I have a few hats that are a bit of an investment, I also own several that are extremely budget friendly. Regarding my pricier purchases, I’ve had all but one of these hats for at least a year now and I truly feel I’ve gotten more than my money’s worth; I wear them all the time, and they’re still in great condition. So if you’re a bit hat-obsessed, like me, sometimes it can be worth the investment to purchase a great quality staple piece that’ll serve you for years to come.
My absolute most favorite piece in my collection is, by far, this Janessa Leone Lola fedora. I fell in love with this hat after seeing Jessica Alba sporting it. She seems to be a big fan of Janessa Leone’s creations, for what it’s worth.;) I’ve had this hat for a few years now and it still looks perfect, despite being worn every chance I get and dragged along on several vacations. I love that it goes with almost everything in my wardrobe, and can be worn year-round.
While we’re on the subject of Janessa Leone, her Gloria hat is my second favorite piece in my collection. This hat is gorgeous, but I have to say it does not travel very well (meaning it doesn’t pack well). It’s absolutely perfect for all those al fresco brunch outings though;)
My other go-to lid is this guy and it’s only $15! I was so happy with this purchase, that I went back and ordered it in natural as well. They’re excellent quality and perfect for bringing along on your tropical vacation, as they don’t really lose their shape when packed away. Bonus: shipping is free if you’re an Amazon Prime member.
Of course, I can’t forget this Carrie Bradshaw inspired purchase, which is a perfect addition to any fall and winter wardrobe. I so wish I could reference the episode where Carrie rocked a very similar slanted brim fedora in a shopping scene, but I can’t find it to share with you all….womp womp. The point is, I loved her look so much and needed something similar in my closet, stat (my obsession is very real, you all!) and I totally lucked out at Amazon. They have the same style hat available in grey, and we all know ya can’t go wrong with grey. You also can’t go wrong with the price, at under $30!
Last, but certainly not least, one of my new faves that I recently came across during a Nordstrom sale is this wide brim straw fedora. I haven’t gotten a chance to wear it out of the house yet, but I’m extremely happy with this purchase (I ordered the honey one) and I cannot wait to sport it at the beach. I love that the brim is super wide for added sun protection, as I need all the help I can get to stave off those wrinkles;)
Who else is completely hat-obsessed, and what are your favorite go-to pieces? I’d love to hear from you!
Hope everyone has an amazing weekend!
