Hey Guys! I’m running a bit behind schedule this week so I need to hop back to editing photos for my Milos “day 2” post, but first I wanted to share a couple things from my recent Forever 21 mini shopping spree, including these super comfy distressed jeans I scooped up for just under $25!
I’ve never bought denim from places like Forever 21 or Shein bc usually the fit just isn’t that great on me, but the prices were just too good to pass up and they looked cute on the models, so I went ahead and purchased two different pairs (I’ll be sharing the second in an upcoming post;)) and I actually love them both (yay!).
The pair I’m wearing here are pretty stretchy, so I’d say they fit TTS. I went up a size (I almost always do bc I personally would rather something be slightly too big, vs tight and ill fitting) and since they’re stretchy they still fit me pretty well. They come in three different blue washes, and mine are the middle wash on the website.
I also picked up this cute coin pendant necklace for five bucks and I’ve gotten compliments on it every time I’ve worn it for the past couple weeks. I haven’t worn it in the shower or anything yet, but it’s held up well to normal wear and hasn’t tarnished at all.
The only other new-ish thing I’m wearing is this fun ruffled peplum cami, which I bought about a month ago for like $6, but unfortunately it’s sold out. I did link some similar options, that are all pretty budget friendly (some more so than others, obviously;)). The one I’m wearing is actually fantastic quality, so I really hope they restock it for spring and summer. If you have a Shein account (and really, why would you not??;)), just save it to your favorites in case it comes back:)
Now here’s a good news/bad new sitch for ya…..my Dolce Vita for Target shoes are out of stock, BUT the original Dolce Vita Eddie Sandals (which inspired the Target version) are now marked down from $140 to ‘just’ $74 here! My friend has the Eddies and says they’re sooooooo comfy and they look super hot on her, so I think I might grab a pair of the black ones;)
Also, I just found my old Alexander Wang bag on the RealReal in a few different colors ranging from like $150-$250 (linked them in the widget). FWIW, I bought this bag new (way back when I was actually earning a decent living haha) for around $600, and I don’t regret it because I do really love this bag and the hardware on it is gorge. I kinda went down an Alexander Wang rabbit hole for a few years and bought three of his different studded bags too (Lia sling, Rocco Duffle, and Diego Bucket Bag)….which I’m sort of face-palming about bc I’m pretty much over the stud thing. I still have all the bags bc I’m not willing to sell them for $200, so I’m holding out hope that purse studs make a strong come back in the not so distant future;)
Well, I’m off to take the dogs out for the 64738734 time today, and then get crackalackin on some more photo editing until my eyeballs cross. And I wonder why I’m going blind….
PS: ICYMI yesterday, check out my microblading procedure review and before/after shots here.…it’s pretty dramatic!
