I’m doing a lot of “buy now, wear later” type shopping this year. And by “later,” I mean next year, COVID permitting. I’m hopeful that we’ll be able to vacation to a few of our favorite destinations abroad in 2021, and if so, I am SO ready for it with this muted tropical print jumpsuit….among many other impulse purchases I’ve made while recovering from my breast reduction.
I was very impressed with the quality of the soft fabric, and the fact that it’s lined really well. So you don’t have to worry about inadvertently showing any goods while you’re wearing it. It’s also a really good length. I’m 5’3″ and I love how it just grazes the top of the ankle. If it were full length, it might look a bit frumpy.
I also love this color combo. It’s colorful, but more on the earthy spectrum, which has been my vibe lately. They do have it in a slightly more vibrant color combo, but I prefer this one.
I would say it runs slightly large. I ordered a medium, and it’s not supposed to be super tight, but I have a broad back and still had a bit of gaping around the top. Though, I did just have my boobs reduced to an A cup, so that might have something to do with it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Of course I styled it with some old favorites: my classic Prada sunnies, and Janessa Leone “Gloria” straw hat. I’ve had both of these staples since years before I even had this blog, but the sunnies are just SO good that Prada still makes them, and as much as I am O-V-E-R hearing about the Nordstrom anniversary sale, they are part of it and currently well under $200. The other good news is Janessa Leone still makes this amazing hat. It’s a splurge, but it’s come with me on so many summer vacays all over the planet now, so I’ve definitely gotten more than my money’s worth, and it’ll never go out of style.
