Hope everyone has been able to get back on schedule after our weird 4th of July holiday. I think my internal clock is finally back to normal. It is Wednesday right??
The main purpose of today’s post is to share this gorgeous white lace duster with you all, but since a lot of you responded positively to my IG poll yesterday about wanting to learn more about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, I thought I’d begin chatting about it with this post, seeing as early access begins tomorrow….yes, TOMORROW! Eeek! Sorry I am just now talking about it, but honestly, so many other bloggers are covering it, that I figured you all were probably tired of seeing posts about it already. I know I kind of am, but probably bc I live, eat, and breathe this industry. So again, I apologize for not chatting about it sooner.

Early access runs for one week beginning Thursday, July 12th to Thursday, July 19th

Early access is a perk reserved for Nordstrom Cardmembers only (but I’m sure you could open up a store card all lickety-split style right here if you want in on the early access.

The main perk of early access is you will be among a relative handful of shoppers who can get first dibs on all the best deals and new merchandise before they go out of stock (some stuff sells out FAST). If you miss out on one of your must-haves, there’s still a chance it’ll be restocked before the sale is over. 🙂

Access to the sale for the general public runs from Friday, July 20th to Sunday, August 5th.

For all my friends to the North (I’m looking at you, Canada;)) the sale only applies to in store purchases. Lame, I know.

There will be huge markdowns in all departments for all seasons: including tech gadgets for the men and kids in our lives, so it’s a great time to start thinking about Christmas gifts too.

This is a great time to stock up on wardrobe staples, such as sweaters, coats, jeans, bags, and shoes at a deep discount, such as these Stuart Weitzman Lafayette Slouch Boots which will be marked down from $775 to $489 during the sale, and I’m sure these won’t last long. I have a couple pairs of SW boots, and I heart them so much bc they’re classic designs that will serve you for years. I’m also in love with this Lewit Plaid Trench Coat, which will be marked down by $200 (from $599 to $399) during the sale.

I just got early access to the catalog, so I’m going to start going through it to see what my other favorite deals are and do my best to keep you all up to date throughout the sale here and on my IG stories. Now, back to my gorgeous white lace duster;) Can yall believe how gorgeous this thing is for under $20?!? I bought it for our upcoming trip to Mexico to use as a swimsuit coverup, but I couldn’t wait to wear it when I got it in the mail and saw how beautiful it was:) It looks great over a tank and distressed denim for a cool boho vibe. My Blank NYC shorts are a couple seasons old, but I found two even cuter (and cheaper;)) pairs at Nordstrom Rack, which I’ve linked in my “shop the post” carousel. My tank is from last season at F21, and I tried to find a similar one, but kind of struck out, unfortunately. I was able to link everything else though…YAY!
Hope you all are having a great week! I’m off to figure out what the heck I’m going to wear for my high school reunion. It’s a two day event with lots of different activities, so basically I’m going to be bringing at least a week’s worth of clothing and accessories bc I suck at packing. =\
